ABOUT FRED
Fred Vilensky, EA is a tax practitioner licensed to practice before the IRS and state tax authorities.
He is a U.S. Army Veteran. He is the founder of Vilensky & Company LLC, a firm that is focused on taxpayer representation before the various taxing authorities and providing accounting and tax services to small and mid-size businesses and individuals.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Lewis-Clark State College in 2015. He became licensed tax practitioner in 2018. He began his career to become a tax practitioner in 2005 as a law enforcement officer while pursuing a degree in criminal justice. He conducted countless investigations , interviews, and testified in court many times gaining familiarity with the court system.
After spending 4 years in law enforcement, he gained critical skills that are needed to provide competent representation, forensic accounting, and records reconstruction for audit purposes, he switched gears to become well versed in tax law. He also has extensive knowledge in business structure and provides support in that area.
When he is not at work, you can find him spending time with his wife, kids and their pets. He enjoys traveling in the summer and skiing in the winter.
