Fred Vilensky, EA is a tax practitioner licensed to practice before the IRS and state tax authorities.
He is a U.S. Army Veteran. He is the founder of Vilensky & Company LLC, a firm that is focused on taxpayer representation before the various taxing authorities and providing accounting and tax services to small and mid-size businesses and individuals.

He has worked closely with clients to prepare and file tax returns, resolve tax issues, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws. He has a strong understanding of tax codes, excellent analytical skills, and great ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner. He stays up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and uses these expertise to help clients minimize their tax liabilities and maximize their financial well-being. His high level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service distinguishes him from among his peers. He has a passion for helping others navigate the complexities of our federal tax system.

He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Lewis-Clark State College in 2015. He became licensed tax practitioner shortly thereafter. He began pursuit of the accounting career in 2005 as a patrol deputy working for a local county sheriff.  He garnishes experience from 5 years as a law enforcement officer where he learned critical communication skills, ways to navigate our legal system, and gained a reputation for establishing solid cases. During his law enforcement career, he conducted countless investigations , interviews, and provided courtroom testimony gaining the critical skills needed to provide competent representation for clients before the IRS and various taxing authorities.

He is a member of Certified Forensic Examiners (CFE) and possesses skills in forensic accounting and records reconstruction. He has extensive knowledge in business structure and provides support in that area for current businesses and new startups.

When he is not at work, you can find him spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys traveling, camping, meeting new people, skiing in the winter, prior to tax season ;-), and enjoys every new day that God gives us.
